Samkhya Sanskrit
   His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi
on the importance of regular practice of
   the Transcendental Meditation technique:
Samkhya is one of the structuring dynamics of Rk Veda. It highlights the
ENUMERATING quality involved in structuring Rk Veda.
With reference to consciousness, Samkhya comprises the specific sets of laws
of Nature that are engaged in promoting the quality of Chhandas--the object
[Transcendental Mediation] offers to enliven the field of
consciousness through the experience of the sequentially
evolving levels of consciousness, from the unmanifest
field of total potential of the organizing power of Natural
Law to all the different levels of evolution of Natural Law
responsible for the evolutionary process of the whole field
of consciousness--from the singularity of consciousness
in the unmanifest field of self-referral consciousness to all
fields of manifest creation.

of observation, which hides the dynamism of Devata in the witnessing quality
of Rishi--within the Samhita level of consciousness, providing a structure to the

In the physiology, Samkhya is represented
by the neuronal activity of dendrites, cell
bodies, and axons and their connectivities.

The abstract, numberless realities of
perception, awareness, feeling, emotion,
consciousness, behaviour, etc. experienced
through the nervous system are perceived
through neuronal activity by means of
numbers. At the neuronal level, every
experience reduces to a set of numbers.
