In
the physiology, [Charak Samhita] corresponds to all the tissues and organs formed by the embryologic mesoderm. From the mesoderm are formed the skeleton, muscles, and connective tissues, which hold the different parts of the body together and give support to the whole physiology. The divisions and subdivisions of Charaka Samhita correspond to the basic organization and structure of the mesodermal tissues and organs. -His Majesty Prof. Tony Nader-Ram in Human Physiology: Expression of Veda and the Vedic Literature, p. 170 |
